The Postcard Village

Perched on the northern tip of the island, the village of Oia reflects the renaissance of Santorini after the devastating earthquake of 1956. Restoration work has whipped up beauty, and you will struggle to find a more stunning Cyclades village. Built on a steep slope of the caldera, many of its dwellings nestle in niches hewn into the volcanic rock.

But we are here to make it extra special. You can find out about all the traditional things from everywhere but from us you can learn all the hidden paths, the local secrets and the leftover parts of history.

Have you ever heard of the “White Dragon” rooftop? You can search online but you won’t find it anywhere, it’s a local secret. Did you know that long after sunset has come and gone, local groups of friends go to Oia Castle and play Greek music and sip wine under the stars? Have you ever been to the Atlantis bookstore where the myth of the Lost Atlantis lives on through rows and rows of first editions. Or that Oia village has a sea lion that lives in a cave under Oia and that locals feed every day because she doesn’t want to leave us.

You see, our ambition is to offer you a luxurious yet true stay, where you can truly immerse yourself in the mesmerizing surroundings, relax, feel rejuvenated but also live every minute of it as a Greek.
